After teasing the JJJJound x Reebok Club C 85 collab last week, the Montreal-based label has now made things official. But rather than just dropping the one pair that we all bookmarked Instagram, it’s been unwrapped in three colorways. A triumvirate!
Club Cs are generally made of leather, but for JJJJound’s latest versions, they’re all decked out in lots and lots of suede. Revealed in a subtle tan, a light gray, and a pleasing off-white, the sneakers are squeaky clean. Perforations are dotted across the toe box for a breath of fresh air, while stitching runs across each of the uppers, just like the OG design from ’85.

In the mid-aughts, Justin R. Saunders pioneered the internet mood board: an endless scroll of aspirational images that helped define (and democratize) cool for an entire generation. And then he set about turning his discerning eye into a very 21st-century sort of clothing brand.
Underfoot, the rubber midsole comes in white, and the Reebok logo that’s usually found on the lateral side “window” has been replaced with the JJJJound’s serif logo instead. All of this then comes packed in some special co-branded shoeboxes, which are almost as minimalist as the actual tennis trainers themselves.
