StockX has announced a new trading tool on its platform today, allowing users to buy and sell products without ever actually physically encountering the items.

Earlier today, the Detroit-based secondary marketplace announced its latest Store at StockX program. Some of the key elements include users not physically needing to interact with the products, the ability to quickly react to market trends, and more profits for sellers since they don’t have to worry about buyer fees and shipping costs.

“By eliminating the need to physically move products, Store at StockX marks an evolution in how people engage with our marketplace,” StockX CEO Greg Schwartz said. “It unlocks new opportunities for users who already buy with the intent to resell, while lowering barriers for those previously deterred by shipping costs and other fees. At the same time, it removes the burden of handling and storing inventory—two of the biggest challenges in resale today.”

How this program works is that users can select the “Store at StockX” delivery option when purchasing on StockX Pro. Once the item passes verification, it becomes available in their profile, with the option to take physical possession of it at any time if they so choose.

The Store at StockX program is currently available for select users, and those who are interested are urged to sign up here.
