Moncler is kickstarting the launch of what the Italian luxury label has dubbed the “Puffy Summer season” with a new campaign featuring Jamie Dornan.
As the Golden Globe-nominated Belfast actor and Fifty Shades franchise alum explained in a statement shared with Complex, there’s a “real sense of joy and playfulness” at the heart of the new collection, which is available now via the official Moncler site and in select stores.
“There’s something really interesting about taking what Moncler’s known for and shifting it into summer,” Dornan said. “You still get that sense of warmth and puffiness, just in a lighter, more relaxed way. The whole campaign has this real sense of joy and playfulness.”
Key to the range of new pieces is an aim to provide what Moncler reps describe as “a transitional wardrobe,” with the accompanying Dornan-led campaign also featuring a series of animal sculptures—including an octopus, a lobster, and more—crafted by set designer Andy Hillman and his crew.
For men, Moncler has introduced a palette of scarlet red, sunny yellow, sky blue, rich burgundy, and clean neutrals. Expect windbreakers, field jackets, shorts, bowling shirts, bucket hats, and more.
The women’s pieces pull from a palette of pastel pink, orange, forest green, and crisp naturals. Highlights include parkas, shirt jackets, button-down polo shirts, and dresses.
