As Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle gears up to launch her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, her office is filing trademark applications that give us a sense of what direction the site might go in. And to no one’s surprise, makeup is one of the areas it’ll cover.

As celeb after celeb launches a beauty and/or skincare line, it seems Markle wants in on the game. According to trademarks filed in March and February and reviewed by People, the company has listed under its “goods and services” items that include but are not limited to:

  • fragrance and lavender sachets
  • Non-medicated skin care preparations
  • Bath and shower gels and salts not for medical purposes
  • Non-medicated hair preparations
  • Bath soap
  • Bar soap
  • Non-medicated hand soaps
  • Body creams
  • Bath oil
  • Body lotions
  • Cosmetics
  • Body oil
  • Scented oils
  • Air fragrance reed diffusers
  • Room fragrances
  • Incense

The list goes on (literally, we’ve included the rest at the bottom of this article).

So, it’s a store much like Goop? To be clear, this doesn’t mean Meghan Markle is going to sell or make all of this stuff, just that her shop could. The trademark applications were filed by Mama Knows Best, an LLC based in either San Francisco (according to this article) or Beverly Hills (according to this article) or Delaware (according to Reddit).

Honestly, Meghan is a stylish woman and I bet she has good taste in all of this stuff, so let’s see what happens!
