Perhaps it’s the Thom Browne gown Gigi Hadid wore to the Met Gala—which took 13,500 hours to construct, with 2.8 million beads assiduously embroidered onto its surface—or the fact that sister Bella Hadid has now returned to public-facing duties, but Gigi’s fashion cup seems to have been replenished as she strides through New York with all the confidence of someone who has been tried in the court of High Fashion Twitter and emerged victorious.

The model was yesterday afternoon photographed entering the CBS Studios in a Showtime shirtdress from her own brand Guest in Residence and Re/Done jeans with a diminutive Miu Miu Arcadie bag dangling between her fingers. She looked recharged—reawoken, even—a perceived attitude that can perhaps be attributed to the fact she was wearing jewel-encrusted stilettos (not slippers or tasseled loafers), which will emit a Carrie Bradshaw–shaped halo around even the most casual dressers.
