Riverdale and Beef star Charles Melton is now a Netflix lead. But more importantly, he’s also a father to a newborn baby with girlfriend Camille Summers-Valli.
If you didn’t know that, it’s because he keeps his personal life with Summers-Valli pretty private. “People need to mind their own fucking business, honestly,” he bluntly told Hunger Magazine in 2019 when he was still in a relationship with his Riverdale costar Camila Mendes.
But while he doesn’t read the comments or pay much mind to outside opinions, Melton said, “Life’s too short to not be a hopeless romantic. If you can believe in anything right now, believe in love.”

January 2, 2026: Photographer and filmmaker Summers-Vallie announces she’s “making a lil family” with a series of sweet maternity photos. The roundup includes a photo of Melton kissing her pregnant belly.
May 9, 2023: People reports that Melton and Chloe Bennett have “been quietly dating for a few months” after they were photographed on a romantic walk. However, that didn’t last long either.
June 9, 2021: Melton and Mendes reportedly rekindle their breakup after their split in December 2019. However, that ended pretty quickly according to People. This was his last official public relationship, though he’s been briefly linked with other celebs.
