The Forever Black sneaker has now been officially announced and it’s expected to drop May 18. By the sounds of things, Skepta was given a lot of control over the design and he’s created a pretty unique silhouette. The sneaker incorporates rounded cut-outs that show the black mesh underneath, a reflective motif to contrast against the deep black, and the customary co-branding on the heel counter and tongue.
Skepta reportedly also took a lot of inspiration from older Puma designs, including the metallic elements, the alternate yellow and orange laces and the all-chrome box the shoe will be packaged in.
The new Skepta x Puma collab hits the Puma webstore on May 18.
