Playboi Carti and Hiroshi Fujiwara are bringing their unique creative visions to Los Angeles for the 2026 edition of ComplexCon.
As announced Monday (June 15), Carti, whose MUSIC was named the second-best album of 2025 by Complex, and the celebrated Japanese designer will serve as artistic directors for the festival. In fact, Carti fans have more than one reason to be stoked, as he’s also set to close out this year’s festival with a headlining performance on Sunday, Oct. 4.

Playboi Carti is joining Hiroshi Fujiwara and Fragment Design as this year’s artistic directors.The Carti x Fujiwara x Fragment trifecta will see its collective vision executed across products, programming, and experiences. Carti will also close out the festival with a headlining set.

When, and where, is ComplexCon 2026 being held?
ComplexCon 2026 is set for Oct. 3–4, with this year’s festival headquartering the action in Los Angeles. The stacked event will be spread across both the Los Angeles Convention Center and the Crypto.com Arena.
Notably, ComplexCon 2026 will mark the 10th anniversary of the annual festival, which last year featured the relaunch of VERZUZ with Cash Money and No Limit.
