First introduced as part of Nike’s Spring 2021 line-up, this Dunk low works on top of a crisp white leather base and is overlaid by black panels throughout. A Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and all of this rests on top of a white rubber sole that’s all very comfy and all very bouncy. So, basically, it’s black and it’s white and, well… that’s pretty much it.
But that’s the main reason why the ‘Panda’ is as hype-y as it is. In a world where shoes are getting wilder and wilder by the second with fancy lacing systems and carbon fibre plating and all kinds of left-field materials, this sneaker keeps it simple. You won’t find any hidden stash pockets here or Tabi toes. It’s just a good ol’ fashion silhouette that’s made for those who play basketball and those who pretend they can (you know who you are).
The Nike Dunk Low ‘Panda’ already restocked a few times in 2021, and then a few times in 2022, and then a few times again in 2023. And if for whatever you still don’t have a pair in your collection (really?), 2024’s gonna be your year.
