Clearly, Nicola Coughlan is taking her duties as a Bridgerton sex symbol very seriously and I, for one, heartily approve. The Irish actor attended the screening of her new British series, Big Mood, in London on March 13, in a little black dress with a figure-hugging silhouette and a rather jazzy embellishment at the low, sweetheart neckline.

The dress featured ruching detail to complement the generously puffy off-the-shoulder sleeves, with a cheeky slit on the skirt. Coughlan wore the frock with opaque black tights and black heels. She opted to skip the jewelry for this event, except for a red Artists4Ceasefire pin, which you may have noticed on several of the stars at the Oscars.
The actor wore her blonde hair in a tousled updo, reminiscent of famous bombshells past like Pam Anderson and Brigitte Bardot. She kept her makeup relatively light, with an ethereal eyeshadow look, dewey cheeks, and a glossy plum lip.
Nicola Coughlan is starring as the leading lady in season three of Bridgerton, the famously sexy romance series. This season will see Coughlan’s character Penelope finally get her own love story, with her long-time unrequited love, Colin Bridgerton. Though, she has tried to do her best to tamp down on the raciness. “I’ve requested a PG version for my mammy, because I am not doing that,” she said in an interview, per People.
