Pop star Dua Lipa and Masters of the Air actor Callum Turner have spent the better part of the last month as anyone with the means and a passport should: in transit. After a brief vacation in Mexico City, the duo recently landed back in Europe, where Lipa is gearing up to release her third album, Radical Optimism, due out early next month. In the interim, the jet-setting couple hopped on the Eurostar train from Paris to London. (Two Euro stars on the Eurostar? Sheesh!) They exited St Pancras railway station in the British capital with their coordinated travel accessories: hefty leather jackets and lived-in luggage.

Turner looked nice and normal in a ruddy brown, boxy-fit leather jacket and dark polo sweater, which he paired with slightly cropped trousers and black lug-soled boots. He wheeled a well-traveled Montblanc silver hardshell suitcase, which was covered in an eclectic smattering of stickers from the German camera lens company Leitz Cine, the outerwear brands Schott and Filson, and Italy’s Napoli football club, among others. As for the provenance of the luggage—in the far-reaching world of celebrity endorsements, there is usually a breadcrumb trail that leads somewhere: Turner starred in a Montblanc ad campaign last year.

Lipa wore a floor-length, bottle green leather trench coat with blue jeans, Supreme tortoiseshell shades, and black Puma sneakers. Like Turner, Lipa had personalized her travel bag—in this case, a black Hermès Birkin—with colorful keychains, a patterned Hermès Twilly scarf, and a claw hair clip clasped around the handle. Per Vogue, Lipa has taken to the DIY-utilitarian Birkin philosophy of the bag’s namesake, the model Jane Birkin, who was known to decorate her own Birkins—which, in today’s market, can cost between $10,000 and $40,000—with charms, adornments, and other ornamental ephemera. Essentially, a Birkin-fied (or Lipa-fied) Birkin is the high-luxury equivalent of a sticker-covered suitcase.

Like a worn-in luxury bag or beat-up suitcase, there’s a covetable ease to Lipa and Turner: a hot, successful couple with cool style and a savvy knack for filling their free time with travel. I do not envy the lives of most celebrities—on the whole, sounds miserable—but Dua, if you ever want to swap places and blog about your own outfits while I saunter around Paris with a Birkin, just give me a jingle!
