Ciara Miller recently told Glamour she’s “way too private” for The Bachelorette…but she never said anything about Dancing With the Stars.

On April 22, Hulu announced the first two contestants for Dancing With the Stars season 35 at their annual Get Real event in California—and they couldn’t have picked a more relevant duo than Ciara Miller and Maura Higgins. Miller, of course, is the Summer House star (and Glamour cover star) at the center of Bravo’s messiest love triangle since Scandoval, while Higgins is an Irish reality TV veteran currently known for her fashionable run as a faithful on The Traitors season four.

Of course, these women share more in common than their new gig: They were both betrayed by people they trusted. Higgins thought she was about to win The Traitors only to learn her so-called ally Rob Rausch was a “tray-turr” all along. More painfully, Miller spent last summer supporting her close friend Amanda Batula through the dissolution of her marriage only to discover—along with the rest of the world—that Batula is now dating Miller’s ex, West Wilson.

And yet, Higgins and Miller can’t possibly be described as anything but winners. Higgins still walked away with the Birkin bag Rausch promised, while Miller has easily won in the court of public opinion and seen her star rise to new heights. And on top of all the new brand deals and fanfare, they’re both starring on Dancing With the Stars season 35.

Here’s everything we know about the next season of the reality dance competition:

When does Dancing With the Stars season 35 premiere? No date has been announced, but DWTS will likely air in fall 2026, based on the timing of previous seasons.
