For a split second, you might have thought it was Serena van der Woodsen making a splash on the Manhattan social scene. But this wasn’t an episode of Gossip Girl, but rather a pre–Met Gala night out for Blake Lively, to celebrate Pharrell’s Tiffany & Co. Titan collection.

Lively was the picture of Old Hollywood glamour in her blue (what else for a Tiffany & Co. party?) fish-scale dress, perfectly offset by a mane of tumbling mermaid curls, the handiwork of her regular hairstylist Jennifer Yepez. Her sun-kissed glow—which paired perfectly with her glossy cascading waves—came care of Armani Beauty’s Luminous Silk Bronzer in 90, while celebrity makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez used the brand’s Lip Power in 303 to achieve that coral pout.

Our favorite part? Lively’s on-trend French manicure, applied by nail artist Elle Gerstein, who described the star’s elongated and elegant oval manicure as “quiet luxury,” but for nails.

“Glamorous and perfectly on trend,” Gerstein said. The iridescent polish in a pearly shade was subtle yet impossible to miss—not least because of that showstopping bracelet that draped over Blake Lively’s fingers, making sure that, once people had clocked the diamonds, all eyes were on her luxe manicure.
