Adidas Originals and Willy Chavarria have announced their “Love Prevails” collection.
At the heart of the collaboration is the Chavarria Superstar, which features Willy’s reimagining of the classic Adidas silhouette. Rather than the classic shell toe, the designer instead opts for a molded rose toe in two colorways: all black with white stripes, and a black body with white stripes and a white sole.
Also included in the drop are bombers, crewnecks, cargo jackets, and pinstripe tracksuits, among others, embellished with Willy’s signature embroidery and artwork.
“Chavarria’s ‘Love Prevails’ speaks to communities holding each other together in the face of fear, uncertainty, and the forces that try to separate us,” a press release says. “It is a statement of resistance—not through anger, but through empathy, dignity, and an unshakable faith in one another.
“The campaign’s visuals embody harmony to fight against harshness, in freedom to overcome fear, in life to defeat death. In times of darkness, brightness emerges in all its splendor.”
The Adidas Originals x Willy Chavarria “Love Prevails” collection will be available on April 18 at 10 a.m. ET on adidas.com, the Confirmed App, and select retailers.
