A full white chrome nail look is just as chic, especially in creamy vanilla. Back in 2023, influencer @thehotblendofficial’s vanilla chrome nail tutorial blew up on TikTok for it’s particularly pearly finish. At the time, she used a creamy shade of Love Letter and a topcoat onto her oval nails before adding the key ingredient: a DIY mix of “two white pearlescent nail chrome powders” for the finishing touch.
The look instantly went viral, with one user pointing out that the trend was ideal for wedding season. “This would be a cute wedding day nail for a bride in a chic elegant satin wedding dress. chefs kiss,” they commented.
They weren’t wrong, but there’s definitely a way to embrace the trend without giving bride. Ganzorigt recommends using a light touch for a more translucent version of your favorite white polish. “My ultimate favorite is OPI’s Funny Bunny,” Ganzorigt says. “I use one coat, which keeps it sheer and slightly milky rather than fully opaque.”
Thankfully, the look has never been easier to DIY than in summer 2026.
