For the first time since France ’98, Scotland are heading back to the World Cup, and as the exclusive retail partner of the Scottish FA, JD Sports is marking the moment with a new campaign titled We’re In.
Built around a cast including past and present Scotland players, the campaign channels the anticipation surrounding manager Steve Clarke’s current squad ahead of a huge summer on football’s biggest stage. Fronted by national treasure and everyone’s favourite co-commentator, Ally McCoist, alongside current stars Scott McTominay, Billy Gilmour and Kieran Tierney, the visuals move from changing rooms to pool halls and waterfront link-ups, mixing matchday energy with an off-pitch aesthetic. Alongside the kits themselves, the wider collection spans training wear and casual staples.
At the centre of the drop is adidas’ new Night Sky home kit, inspired by the Saltire and designed for Scotland’s return to the global stage. Elsewhere, the Trace Scarlett away strip nods back to the nation’s iconic ’99 shirt, with pinstripes and ribbed trims giving the design a classic edge. Built with adidas’ sweat-wicking CLIMACOOL and CLIMACOOL+ technology, the shirts are designed to perform both on the pitch and in the stands, and the full range is available in men’s, women’s and kids’ sizing.
So how far can Scotland go? With Liverpool legend Andy Robertson captaining the side, cult hero John McGinn setting the tone in midfield and Ballon d’Or nominee Scott McTominay arriving fresh off a title-winning season in Naples, there’s a growing sense this squad could go further than any Scotland side before.
The full Scotland collection is available now via JD Sports.
