What makes A&F’s jeans for tall women truly stand out is their huge variation in inseams and sizes, styles and washes, and the under-$100 price point. Not only does the brand have long sizing, but it has extra-long as well. Three tall women we spoke to said they gravitate toward these ’90s-vibes straight-cut, high-rise jeans that would look right at home on Princess Di.
“As someone who is tall with a 36-inch inseam, it is very hard to find perfect-fitting jeans,” explains Morgan Bilodeau, the 5’11” marketing and PR manager at fashion label Merlette. “Not a lot of brands offer a true ‘long’ denim length. For me, that is at least a 35- or 36-inch inseam. This Abercrombie style is my most worn, as they hit floor length and fit nicely around the hips.”
Glamour UK senior commerce editor Georgia Trodd can’t get enough of the denim. “It’s nice to sometimes have the option of wearing something longer, like straight-leg jeans or high-waist jeans that don’t look like cutoffs,” she says.
