Adidas Originals and Bape have reconnected this month with a new collection that pays homage to basketball and streetwear culture from the late 1990s and the early 2000s.
At the center of the campaign is Oklahoma City Thunder star Jalen Williams, who the brands say embodies the spirit of both Adidas and Bape. For this drop, Bape has applied its signature camo print onto the Crazy Energy+ performance hoop shoe. The entirety of the upper is covered in a metallic silver camo and paired with a matching silver Lightstrike Pro midsole underneath. Bape branding is also debossed on the heel.
In addition to the sneakers, the latest Bape x Adidas collection includes a purple tracksuit, a warm-up top, a t-shirt, a beanie, and a shoulder bag.
Readers will be able to cop the new Bape x Adidas Crazy Energy+ and the accompanying apparel on Nov. 7 via Complex. Prices range from $60 to $240.
