Amazon Prime Day is officially back in the building. Save for a different name (“Prime Big Deal Days”), you can still expect thousands of deals across pretty much every category, including, of course, Apple products.
You might think it’s too soon for Amazon to discount brand-new Apple gadgets, but not so. You just can’t beat the purchasing power of the House that Bezos Built, not that Prime members are complaining. Last year, the new AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C launched on Amazon with a discount. This time, it’s the new AirPods 4. And because we live in the weirdest timeline, as of this writing, the AirPods 4 are cheaper than the AirPods 3 with the old and busted lightning cables.
If you’re looking for a new pair of cans, we’ve rounded up the best Prime Day AirPods deals, including discounts on Beats. Think of Beats as AirPods’ cousins. They’re owned by Apple and share a lot of the same tech.
Just remember: You’ve only got 48 hours to shop the October Prime Day sale. We’re still holding out hope that the new AirPods Max or Beats Studio Pro x Kim Kardashian headphones go on sale. We’ve also been hearing rumors for a long time that $99 AirPods are coming in 2024. If the new pods do drop below $100, you’ll be the second to know. (We’ll be the first.)
For every other worthwhile deal on our radar, head over to our massive list of the best Prime Big Deal Day sales. And while you’re at it, make sure you receive all our shopping intel from hereon forward and subscribe to the GQ Recommends newsletter.

Apple
AirPods 4 Wireless Earbuds
Fresh off the assembly line, the newest AirPods come with and without noise-cancelling. If you want to grab them on sale, you’ll have to live without ANC. Still, they’re sweat and water resistant, have a new Apple H2 chip, and run for 30 hours before zonking out.
Apple
AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C
The latest Pro model got a small update last year. Now, they don’t just come with premium Active Noise Cancellation, but an era-appropriate USB-C connector.
Apple
AirPods 3 with Lightning
Not quite as old-school as the AirPods Max, these earbuds are showing their age. It’s hard to make an argument for buying these over the AirPods 4, at least until the price drops below $119. For those stuck on Lightning cables, these are the buds you’re looking for.
Apple
AirPods Max Headphones with Lightning
The original AirPods Max are genuinely old-school by now, but we still see them everywhere here in New York City. We’ve also seen the price drop below $400, and we’re hoping for a repeat.
Beats
Studio Buds Wireless Earbuds
These buds have since been replaced by the Beats Studio Buds +, but don’t count ’em out. You can wear them while you work out in the rain and enjoy noise cancelling goodness while you do.
Beats
Powerbeats Pro Wireless Earbuds
For athletes tired of picking up their earbuds off the ground, these hook hearbuds offer all-day battery life in addition to a secure fit and a steep markdown.
Apple
EarPods Headphones
Like the Gen-Z teen sibling who prefers wired headphones to your fancy noise-cancellers, the EarPods are the forgotten sibling in the AirPods family. Not technically AirPods, they are on trend, weirdly. Get them in USB-C, Lightning, or 3.5mm and a measly 99 cents discount.
