Much like DIY firework shows, the best 4th of July deals have arrived early. And truth be told, this is one of the best times of the year to snag excellent deals on all manner of menswear—retailers far and wide are dropping summer sales on basically everything. And we do mean everything.
Looking for some linen to keep cool(er) when summer starts really cooking? On sale. Need some last-minute (or first-time) camping gear? Also on sale. Need some new shoes to add to the warm-weather rotation? Very, very on sale.
To help you find the best deals for the Fourth, we rounded up our favorites to streamline your shopping experience and get you fitted before you take off for the week. Just remember: While these all have a little runway, there’s no guarantee on inventory, so move fast. And because more sales are rolling in everyday, we’ll be updating this page as they do, so be sure to check back in.

Abercrombie & Fitch
Abercrombie is giving you 20% off almost their entire site, which means their baggy jeans, cropped tees, crocheted shirts and pretty much everything else you’ve been eying is on sale.
Alex Mill
You can basically lay the foundation for an entire wardrobe at Alex Mill, who make some of our favorite everyday pieces, anywhere. And they just kicked off their killer end-of-season sale, which means you’ll get 30-50% off nearly the entire site.
American Trench
American Trench makes some of our favorite socks, underwear and athletic shorts (all made in the USA!), but the rest of their collection might be just as good. And this week their knitwear and pants are 20% off, the rest of their apparel is 25% off and their socks and accessories clock in at 30% off.
Banana Republic
We’ve spent quite a bit of time ogling over Banana Republic’s killer Spring/Summer collection during the past few months—and as of this week, a ton of it is on sale, with savings of up to 50% on some of the best warm-weather-ready staples and showstoppers in the game.
Bather
One of our favorite purveyors of poolside attire is offering 20% off their ENTIRE site with the code GETWET. Yep, the whole thing. Come for the knockout trunks, but don’t sleep on one of our favorite linen shirts on the planet.
Everlane
Take up to 70% off Everlane’s eminently wearable, transparently-made, park-ready summer collection. (Seriously, the savings are nuts.)
J.Crew
J.Crew’s return to form is well-documented, but that doesn’t mean you can’t snag some serious savings this week—use code JULY to take up to 50% off (hundreds) of summer styles, as well as an extra 60% off already-discounted items through July 8.
Levi’s
Levi’s has a couple things going on. For starters, they’re offering 30% off all orders of $150 or more through July 14, and while exclusions do apply, there aren’t a ton. They’re also giving you 30% off all shorts on the site, no exclusions or minimums, through July 4.
Madewell
If you haven’t checked out Madewell’s men’s collection recently, there’s no time like the present—not only is the End of Season Sale rolling, but they’re offering you an extra 30% off already-discounted pieces through July 10 with code COOLDOWN.
Mr Porter
You know it, you love it, it’s been chugging along for a few weeks now. But—BUT—an absolutely ludicrous number of pieces have either been added or knocked down even further, and the savings are now topping out at 60%. Move quick though, they won’t last long.
Ralph Lauren
Ralph Lauren is giving you an extra 30% off everything in their sale section, including some of their all-time, trend-defying classics.
REI
We’ve already outlined the best things to buy from REI’s annual 4th of July sale extravaganza, but the brass tacks come down to (literally) thousands of products discounted up to 40%—including apparel, footwear, camping gear, cycling equipment and basically anything else that shines in the outdoors. But act fast, the savings end on July 4.
Reigning Champ
The Canadian Kings of Cozy just kicked off their (limited-time) summer sale, which means you can take up to 50% off nearly everything in their collection—including their legendary tees and hoodies—through July 7.
Reiss
Whether you’re looking for some everyday upgrades or you’ve let your summer suit search get down to the wire, Reiss’ summer sale has you covered with savings up to 50%—and in some cases more—on nearly their entire knockout collection.
SSENSE
The e-comm titan has also been on sale for a little while now, but nearly all of one of the most exhaustive selections on the planet is now up to 70% off and it’s moving fast. Like, really fast.
Todd Snyder
Not only were a wallet-imperiling number of Todd Snyder’s pitch-perfect summer pieces just added to the sale selection, they’re offering an extra 20% off almost everything that’s already been discounted with the code SUMMER20.
