Oakley launched its limited-edition MUZM Scar and Suture Jacket collectors set on Thursday (June 11) available now on Oakley.com and at select stores and partners worldwide.

The two-piece capsule brings together the MUZM Scar in Electric Blue, a reissue of the original Scar frame first introduced in 2001, and the newly unveiled Suture Jacket with an X-Silver finish. Both frames include Prizm Sapphire lenses, which sharpen color and contrast and feature Plutonite lens material, according to the official press release.

The original 2001 Scar broke ground with a mixed-material build combining a high-wrap silhouette with an exposed metal hinge. The MUZM reissue preserves that architecture, retaining the lightweight O Matter frame and the signature metal hinge that defined the original.

The Suture Jacket also carries the design DNA of the early 2000s to modern day: It features semi-rim construction with dynamic brow geometry, a one-of-a-kind outer lens shape, and transparent silicone temple socks with spike detailing fitting for grip.

Trademarked Unobtainium nose pads positioned for a no-slip fit and molded-in cam hinges round out a technical spec sheet that introduce the drop as the next evolution in the Oakley Jackets family.

Oakley says the release paves “a direct line from past innovation to future expression.”

The MUZM program is Oakley’s archival reissue series dedicated to culturally significant designs. Recent Oakley eyewear launches include the MUZM Juliet and the MUZM Straight Jacket 99, a return of a Y2K-era staple from the brand’s archive.
