Lil Yachty isn’t impressed by New York or Atlanta style.

In a recent episode of his podcast, A Safe Place, Lil Boat and his co-host, Mitch sat down with Cash Cobain to discuss a myriad of topics, including Atlanta’s influence on Cobain’s musical style.

After Cobain admitted that Atlanta’s music heavily impacted his sound—artists like Young Thug and Migos—the conversation segued into fashion.

“Everyone used to just kinda copy Atlanta. You said it yourself,” Yachty told the “Fisherrr” rapper around the 47:40 minute mark. “You just said even like the influence was extremely heavy from Atlanta. … As far as style goes, I don’t think it’s shit going on when it comes to New York fashion.”
