How did Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s visit to Canada ahead of the 2025 Invictus Games go? It seems to have gone pretty perfectly, as a matter of fact. The couple even shared a previously unseen photo of themselves from the One Year to Go Dinner in Vancouver.

The photo, published in People, shows Markle in an olive green gown by Canadian designer Greta Constantine, with a draped, single-shoulder neckline which she accessorized with a simple diamond chain necklace. The better to show off the dress, Meghan wore her hair up in a slick bun with a side part. In the photo, the duchess is sitting next to her husband, who wears a blue suit. Both Sussexes are grinning from ear to ear.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived in British Columbia for the start of Invictus Games season in the middle of February. The Duchess of Sussex wasted no time in showing off her impeccable cold-weather style, as well as her commitment to skinny jeans—no matter what the Zoomers on TikTok have to say. Queen behavior, obviously.

“We loved being back in Canada, a place so meaningful to both of us,” the royal pair said in a statement to People. “It was an honor to be welcomed by the Four Host First Nations, as we marked One Year to Go, together with Invictus coaches, competitors, and families.” They continued, “It filled our hearts to once again be surrounded by Canadian people, food, and culture. We felt the Invictus spirit and excitement throughout Whistler and Vancouver, and are so grateful to all our hosts for organizing such a memorable visit. We’re counting down the days until we return!”
