Kate Middleton has promoted her long-serving and much-loved stylist, Natasha Archer.

Archer, who is known by friends as ‘Tash’, has been working for the Princess of Wales since 2007. She was initially hired as a personal assistant, before being given an increasing number of responsibilities, including stylist for the princess. She was the first non-family member to shoot into the Lindo Wing after Prince George was born. According to MailOnline, the two remain unwaveringly close, with Archer even collecting the princess from the London Clinic following her abdominal operation earlier this year.

Insiders have said she has been “inseparable” from Kate Middleton in recent months and she has now been promoted to the new role of senior private executive. Sources said, “Natasha deserves this boost—she’s unfailingly discreet and loyal to Kate.”

‘Tash’ has been working with the Royal Family since 2007, earning her big promotion in 2014 after giving her honest opinion on Kate’s nude court shoes and proving that she was a dab hand at packing her royal tour suitcases. She has been widely credited with helping Kate move from girl-next-door to the elegant princess the world recognizes today.

Tatler observed in 2019: “Her neutral, functional wardrobe has been replaced by splashes of vibrant colour and pattern,” citing examples like a purple pussybow shirt by Gucci and an Alexander McQueen floral violet gown.

A well-linked royal couple if there ever was one, Chris Jackson, Archer’s husband, regularly accompanies the King and Queen and the Prince of Wales on official engagements. Between the glamorous, smiling array of royal photographs, Jackson regularly shares pictures of his family on his Instagram account. Archer and Jackson’s son, Theo, was born in December 2018, only a few months after Kate and William’s third child, Prince Louis.
