Jollibee and the FINAL FANTASY XIV universe have joined forces for a limited-time collaboration, and we’ve got the collection on Complex.
The collaboration leans into the overlap between gaming culture and food fandom and is also timed to coincide with the FINAL FANTASY XIV Fan Festival in Anaheim, California, taking place April 24-25. A themed store takeover is also set at the nearby Anaheim Jollibee location.
At the center of the in-game side of things is the “Eat Chicken” emote, where your character will pull out a bucket of chicken and start eating. The emote is making its North American debut as part of this collaboration, and fans can unlock it in a few ways. Purchasing one of the two themed meals at participating Jollibee locations gets you a code, but for anyone not near a Jollibee, the merch route on Complex is the other path in.
The collection includes a Moogle hoodie and tee inspired by FFXIV‘s beloved fluffy winged creatures, plus a Chocobo crewneck and tee built around the game’s iconic oversized bird. Each piece comes with a code to unlock the “Eat Chicken” emote in-game.
