Ahead of today’s 2026 NBA Draft Lottery, Nike is referencing Kobe Bryant’s draft journey, including the teams that passed on the Black Mamba, for an upcoming Kobe 4 release.

Dubbed “Draft Pack,” this Nike Kobe 4 style pays homage to Bryant being selected at 13th by the Charlotte Hornets during the legendary 1996 NBA Draft. As a nod to his draft position and the teams that passed on him, this pair is releasing as a blind box-styled drop, with one of 14 colorways arriving at random.

The Nike Kobe 4 Protro features a low-cut upper, featuring the Swoosh logo on the sides and Bryant’s “Sheath” logo embroidered on the tongue. At the heel of the foam midsole is Zoom Air cushioning, while a translucent outsole sits below.

With the drop happening in June, here’s everything you need to know about the release of the “Draft Pack” Kobe 4 Protro.

There are 14 “Draft Pack” Kobe 4 colorways in total, including one for each of the 12 franchises that passed up on drafting Bryant in ‘96, as well as the Hornets, who selected him at the 13th pick. There’s also a purple and gold Kobe 4 colorway that pays homage to the team Bryant would eventually play for.

Each style is marked by the colors from the teams that passed on Bryant on the upper’s Swoosh logo, Bryant’s signature on the heel counter, and the lottery ball graphic on the insoles to represent each team’s draft position. The white-based upper also features a wear-away design that fades over time and reveals the respective team colors.

The Kobe 4 “Draft Pack” will be dropping on June 26. Each pair comes in a white snakeskin-inspired box with gold accents.

The “Draft Pack” Kobe 4 is releasing via the Nike SNKRS app.

Pricing for the “Draft Pack” Kobe 4 Protro has yet to be revealed, but recent Kobe 4 Protros retailed for $190.
