Chris Evans and Alba Baptista were first linked in November 2022 when they were spotted holding hands during a walk in Central Park. According to People, the pair had already been dating for “over a year.” And while they don’t hide their affection for one another, but they definitely don’t put their relationship on blast. Aside from a couple paparazzi photos, the Warrior Nun actor has only made a couple appearances in Evans’ Instagram Stories over the years, starting with that famed prank video, which went over poorly with some of his more intense stans.
This public debut comes six months after the pair tied the knot in Cape Cod in September 2023, which Evans confirmed a month later by showing up to New York Comic Con with a ring on his finger. “We kind of had two ceremonies. We had one on the East Coast, we did one in Portugal—my wife’s Portuguese,” he told the crowd, per Page Six. “But they were just…wonderful and beautiful. It’s a lot planning a wedding—for those of you who are married, you know, it takes a lot out of you.”
He continued, “But now that we’re through that, we’ve just kind of been enjoying life, gearing up for autumn—my favorite season. It’s, like, the best time of year right now. Now we’re just relaxing and enjoying life and reflecting.”
