Not exactly a mystery who Bradley Cooper will be rooting for in the Super Bowl. That borderline unhealthily obsessed Philadelphia Eagles fan he played in Silver Linings Playbook way back when? Not too far off from reality: The Pennsylvania native grew up watching the Birds with his dad, got to sit in the owner’s box as his squad lifted the Lombardi Trophy in 2018, and just last Sunday brought his daughter to Lincoln Financial Field to see them clinch the NFC Championship. Needless to say, it was hardly a surprise to see the Oscar nominee repping the Iggles via a very fetching, pom-pom-topped New Era beanie as he strolled the West Village yesterday.

The rest of Cooper’s outfit was equally on brand: Over the past couple of years, he’s proved a sneakily adept purveyor of low-key, high-impact menswear essentials, ranging from rare retro Jordans and boxy plaid flannels to understated wool car coats and quirky “Girl Dad” trucker caps. On Tuesday, he opted for a pair of all-time winter classics—The North Face’s iconic Nuptse puffer jacket and Timberland’s timeless 6-inch work boots—each leveled up by way of a major designer collaboration.

His coat, for starters, hailed from the blockbuster TNF x Gucci collection circa 2020, which saw then-Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele emblazon the outerwear specialists’ gear with a grip of eccentric prints; Cooper’s blue puffer ranks among the line’s quieter offerings. The boots, meanwhile, are a pair Cooper has worn before—they’re an all-black upgrade on the New England workwear staples by way of Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton. The Maestro star finished off the look with a pair of cashmere sweatpants from Guest in Residence, the knitwear label founded by his girlfriend Gigi Hadid.

A North Face puffer, a pair of Timbs, and some cozy sweats? If it weren’t for that pesky Eagles hat, that’s about as quintessential a New York it’s-brick-out fit as you’re ever likely to see.
