Los Angeles-based premium denim label Agolde has opened its first flagship store on Melrose Place in Los Angeles, and the brand threw a massive party to celebrate.
The party, which was attended by several VIPs, including Girls star Zosia Mamet and singer and actress Lizzy McAlpine, served to highlight the brand’s commitment to art, music, and design, and the creative community in Los Angeles. The store will also act as a cultural hub that will host different artists, musicians, and designers who align with the values and aesthetics of Agolde.
The party featured custom installations from Niki Haas and a DJ set by Liv.e, and also saw the launch of a capsule honoring the 30th anniversary of 2Pac’s beloved album, All Eyez on Me. The 2Pac collection is available online at Agolde’s official website and exclusively at the Melrose Place store. The evening was closed out with a performance from a five-string orchestral arrangement of “California Love” by the five-piece Los Angeles Philharmonic orchestra, as arranged by Derrick Hodge.
