Zendaya is taking a much-needed break.
Elle reports that the actress won’t be in attendance at the 2026 Met Gala after having an extremely busy few months of press tours and project promotions for The Drama and Euphoria.
The Met Gala is set to take place on Monday, May 4, with the theme “Costume Art.” Last year’s theme was “Tailored For You,” which saw Zendaya wear an all-white Louis Vuitton suit.
According to the magazine, Zendaya was seen on Wednesday with her partner, Tom Holland, at his Bero Padel Classic in Sherman Oaks, California. The next day, she was shooting an On campaign in New York City.
Last month saw the arrival of Zendaya’s latest film, The Drama, opposite Robert Pattinson, as well as Season 3 of the cult HBO show Euphoria. In March, the 29-year-old more than hinted that she would be out of the spotlight in the coming months, revealing during a Fandango interview that she may have to “go into hiding” after such an enormous year.
“I guess, you know, I just hope people don’t get sick of me,” she said. “And I really appreciate everyone who supports any of the movies or supports my career in any kind of way. I’m deeply appreciative, and like I said, I just hope you guys don’t get sick of me this year.”
She’s now gearing up for the release of The Odyssey on July 17; Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31; and Dune: Part Three on Dec. 18.
