Kim Kardashian suffered an embarrassing moment while heading into the Vanity Fair 2026 Oscars Party.
The 45-year-old was dressed to impress in a shimmering gold Gucci gown that accentuated her figure and a particularly daring pair of 8-inch heels. She also wore a pair of piercing blue contact lenses, complemented by bold, dark eyeliner.
In a clip that she later shared to her TikTok account, Kardashian expressed her anxiety as she prepared for the event.
“I’m nervous for the carpet,” she said.
The star’s risky choice in footwear may have been contributing to the nerves.
“I wonder if this shoe should be tighter,” she could be heard saying as she made her way into the party before twisting her ankle and nearly stumbling to the ground.
Kardashian was caught by members of her team before she could land in a nearby bush.
“Sorry, sorry, my ankle. But let me try to walk on it,” she said, her voice strained.
Luckily, Kardashian was still able to carefully continue walking with the help of her friend, Stephanie Shepherd. She quickly laughed off the incident.
“That poor lady, I grabbed her,” she said with nervous embarrassment, referring to a passerby she held on to to keep from falling.
Never one to spare accessories, Kardashian was adorned with 3-carat Ofira Jewels diamond ear cuffs. She wore her hair down in loose waves.
Kardashian has been creating buzz online with her rumored romance with 41-year-old British racing driver Lewis Hamilton. The pair have reportedly known each other for years but were first linked romantically back in January.
The duo first appeared publicly as a couple at the 2026 Super Bowl.
