Hailey Bieber doesn’t pull out a maximalist manicure too often—but when she does, she makes it count. That’s definitely true of her Coachella nails which are a total departure from the neutral glazed-donut look she’s been reviving recently.
This year’s desert festival is a big one for for the 29-year-old model and founder. Not only is her husband headlining, but her beauty brand, Rhode, is also hosting its first ever Coachella pop-up. Social media has declared it ‘Bieberchella’ across the board, and who are we to disagree?
Now, back to the nails: As you may have caught on Rhode’s Instagram, Bieber traded her usual milky shimmer for dark statement mani, courtesy of her go-to nail artist, Zola Ganzorigt. The look features an inky black base with ‘70s coded blue and green flowers. If they caught your eye in those crowd clips of Hailey Bieber in during Justin’s set, it’s because they’re glow-in-the-dark.
To create the look, Ganzorigt used OPI Intelli-Gel in Black Onyx for the base, and shades Stay Out All Bright and Blue Them All Away for the flowers. She activated the effect by mixing a “glow-in-the-dark powder” with the floral shades. She even wore a black pedicure to match—and suddenly, I’m rethinking all my go-to summer nail colors.
While the look may feel a little off-brand for Bieber, it’s not the first time that she and Ganzorigt have teamed up for an alien-chic festival mani: She also wore neon green glow-in-the-dark nails for Coachella in 2023. “The tradition continues Glow In The Dark for Bieberchella,” Ganzorigt wrote on Instagram.
