The weekend is the perfect time for a party since Venus, the planet of pleasure, will be joining the Sun in social Sagittarius. This is your best time for catching up with friends, meeting new ones, and celebrating the year that’s been, with a positive outlook on the upcoming year.

Aries (March 21–April 19)

The final full and supermoon of the year makes its grand finale on Thursday, so ride the rising tide of social connectedness around your local community and check in with siblings. This one is about sharing information, talking about feelings with detachment, or even writing them out. Creating a story from those inner seas, cast yourself into a character who can ‘live’ them out on the page. While you may have a broad or international perspective right now, your heart is firmly planted locally, so nurture and tend this part of your life. What does the full moon highlight? Taurus (April 20–May 20)

Themes around value, emotional connection, and communication are highlighted this week, and it hits you right where your wallet is. Discuss the practical side with someone knowledgeable, and reflect from a calm, clear vantage point. As the end of the year rolls in and the final round of holiday spending is edging closer, the clarity embedded in this week is highly valuable. There are so many more podcasts, books, and media aimed at modern contemporary audiences; it’s never been easier to tune in and learn. Gemini (May 21–June 21)

There’s a full moon in your sign this Thursday, and it’s wild. Not only is it the final full and super moon of the year, but it’s high up in the night sky, out of the bounds of the sun (at least from our vantage point here on earth). We’re all familiar with longitude, the way the sun moves one degree per day through the zodiac (along the ecliptic, that band either side of the equator). Declination is the way the sun moves one degree higher to its highest point in the sky in summer, and it’s lowest in winter. Well, this moon is outside that range, so it’s a little out of control of the mainstream or more accepted cultural or social mores. Since the moon is about emotions, yours could really rise up, giving you clarity around what you’re feeling, and toward whom (or what). Mars in your opposite sign is also ‘out of bounds’, so walk to the beat of your own drum, get active, and note that intriguing sporty philosopher type that just walked in the room….

Cancer (June 22–July 22)

Your ruling planet, the ever-changing cosmic mood ring, the moon, is hitting peak intensity in a third and final full super-moon phase this Thursday. Activating your sphere of sleep and dreams, note feelings rising that you can’t quite define or put a finger on. In which case, it’s dream journal time, or simply journaling to reveal and define a little more. In the sign of communicative Gemini, writing with a pen rather than typing may support the process. Balance your inner emotional realm and need for solitude with your duties, work, and daily routines. Exercise and discovering new places and faces are important this month; however, so is time to integrate and take it slowly.
