I have to be honest with you. Amazon Prime is not a good place to buy sneakers. It’s actually an infuriating place to buy them. There’s good New Balances, everyday sneakers, running shoes, shoes for standing all day, and what not. The catch is that in the shoe world, Amazon sellers typically buy unsold stock from elsewhere, so the number of shoes is limited, and price will fluctuate size-to-size. If you want a simple shopping experience, try looking at our list of competitor sales.
But if you want deals… You cannot beat that ugly Amazon interface.
Right now, there’s a handful of good ones. First, our sneaker of the summer, the Puma Speedcat, is 25-percent off. You may think it’s too much of a Look, but trust me it works for anyone. Get it in this bold red suede, and any outfit feels like you just stepped out of a 2000s F1 car. You always look like a European tourist, an Italian guy who’s going to push his Toyota Camry rental to the limits en-route to the Grand Canyon. Trust me, it works.
Elsewhere, there are Rothy’s on sale, which had a moment a few years ago when Pedro Pascal wore them. There’s some Vans, some Addias Terrex. The whole vibe is less sneaker head, more guy that sometimes wears sneakers. That’s a better place to be, in my opinion. If you’re ready to dig through the Amazon shopping experience, here are my favorites of the day.
