Martin Scorsese is the face of Kith and Giorgio Armani’s new campaign.

The partnership between the two brands is Armani’s first-ever collaboration—and having the famed director represent the collection was a no-brainer for the luxury design house. According to a statement from Kith, Scorsese and Armani have been friends for years, with Scorsese having previously helmed the documentary, Made in Milan, which focuses on Armani’s life and brand.

“Through his revolutionary and era-defining work in cinema, Mr. Scorsese is an artistic icon,” the statement reads. “His steadfast representation of his hometown, New York, is a value shared and respected by fellow native, Ronnie Fieg.”

The collection will be available this weekend, ahead of its global launch, at a pop-up in New York. Kith and Armani redesigned a townhouse on the Upper East Side to celebrate the moment, at 170 East 80th Street, which will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 6 and 7.

The collab will have a wider release on Sept. 13 at Kith and Giorgio Armani stores in the US, Canada, Kith.com, CA.Kith.com, and the Kith app. On Sept. 20, the collection will hit stores in Europe Japan, Korea, and EU.Kith.com.
