Fresh off of being named a starter for the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend yesterday, we’re now also learning that Tyrese Maxey is set to receive his first signature basketball shoe with New Balance.
According to ESPN’s senior NBA insider Shams Charania, Maxey will debut his first New Balance signature shoe sometime later this year. Charania confirms that his current deal with the Boston-based sportswear brand included a signature model, but specifics surrounding the sneaker are currently unknown.
Maxey first signed a multi-year deal with New Balance back in January 2023 before later inking an extension with the brand. Maxey will soon be joining Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard as the only other current basketball player with a New Balance signature shoe.
At the time of writing, New Balance has yet to officially unveil Maxey’s signature shoe. Check back soon for new developments in the coming months.
