
To achieve her memorable looks, Tyla isn’t afraid to get creative. “I will take a top and I will stretch the neck and make it into a skirt, and then I will take my top and I’ll cut it up. I will just make it happen,” she told Glamour in her Women of the Year profile. As for whether Tyla will turn people’s obsession with her style into a business (like, say, her own clothing line), she’s open to the idea. “Girl, if it could come out today. I want to do everything,” she said.
But for now, Tyla’s main focus is her music—and she has a clear vision for it. “I want everyone to be dancing,” she said. “I want nobody to be worried about what they look like. What’s the point of life if everything is based on what other people think about you?”
