The Tony Awards 2025 red carpet was as theatrical as ever, with over-the-top, avant-garde gowns as well as more traditionally glamorous black-tie ensembles from Broadway’s biggest stars.
Cole Escola, who won big for Oh, Mary!, was all drama in a stunning silk Wiederhoft corseted gown with a ballooning train, while Amal Clooney, who attended in support of her husband, George, appeared timeless in a beaded white dress in her preferred mermaid silhouette.
For those who are less theater kid, more TV-pilled couch potato, there were several stars whom you may recognize from the screen, including Sadie Sink (Stranger Things), Alyah Scott (The Sex Lives of College Girls), Sarah Snook (Succession), and Sarah Paulson (every Ryan Murphy TV show, basically).
But we’d be remiss not to mention the TV stars known for their Broadway bona fides, like Megan Hilty, who starred in Smash, a network drama about a Broadway play, and Lea Michele, whose work on Glee needs no explanation. Of course, all of these ladies dressed to the nines to celebrate theater’s big night.
