Damson Idris stole the show at last month’s Met Gala.

The British-Nigerian actor cruised down Fifth Avenue in an APXGP F1 race car, pulling up to the event to hype his forthcoming film F1™: The Movie and debut a pair of Tommy Hilfiger-designed outfits.

Now, as engines rev for F1™: The Movie’s June 25 release, Idris has linked with Tommy once again to drop the limited-edition APXGP collection.

The capsule, whose name references the movie’s fictional race team, embodies the 33-year-old’s sophisticated style and gritty, winding journey to stardom. Not to mention, it features pieces actually worn in the film, like this breezy, red-quilted lightweight puffer jacket.

The racing varsity jacket is another standout item in the collection, seamlessly blending motocore and prep. It comes in black leather and white satin colorways, both detailed with patches that commemorate the legacy of the sport and brand. The TH85 embroidered on the chest salutes the year Tommy was founded.

For decades, Tommy Hilfiger has firmly stood at the intersection of streetwear and pop culture, collaborating with Aaliyah, Wu-Tang Clan, Beyoncé, and more. As F1 drivers are cementing their status as core tastemakers in the fashion world, the brand is meeting them at the paddock…and on the big screen.

“Tommy’s vision has always been about pushing culture forward,” Idris reflects. “That energy runs through every part of this partnership.”

Shop the APXGP collection now, and be on the lookout for F1: The Movie, starring Damson Idris and Brad Pitt, which hits theaters on June 25.
