Now that E3 is dead, the weekend of Black Friday and Cyber Monday is officially Gamer Christmas. For consumers, it always has been. Hell, I still remembering finally buying a PS3 on Black Friday of 2013, blu-ray copy of Fight Club in hand. Considering how increasingly digital-only the industry has got in the past 11 years, Cyber Monday is the best day of the year to buy video games and video game consoles. This PlayStation 5 for under $400 is the perfect example.
Via PlayStation Direct—and Amazon while supplies last—you can currently buy a PS5 Slim for the lowest price it’s ever been. The Digital Edition PS5 is marked down to just $375 for the remainder of Cyber Monday.
The Digital Edition isn’t the only PS5 deal you’ll find offered from PlayStation this Cyber Monday. You can also get $75 off the standard PS5 Slim model, which has been discounted to $425. It’s nearly identical, but for an extra 50 bones you get a disc drive and the ability to use your machine as a blu-ray player. Ask me and I’ll tell you it’s worth it, but your nephew who’s never seen a disk will disagree. No matter which model you choose, you get the savings.
I’ve listed out some of the other best PlayStation deals ending today below. On both Amazon and from PlayStation, you can get a PlayStation VR 2 headset bundled with a copy of Horizon: Call of the Mountain (normally $699) for just $349. You can opt for PSVR sans Horizon for the same price, but you may as well take the free game. Other discounts include the $500 NBA 2K25 Digital Edition console bundle discounted to $375 as well as $20 off DualSense controllers. It’s not a ton to look through, but the deals are good overall.
