Paola Rojas starred in one of the most emotional moments of the night when she received the award from actor Natalia Tellez. Her speech was an ode to the union between women, female lineages, and conquered freedoms.
“It means a lot that it is my little sister Natalia Tellez who gives me this; it is magical for many reasons, one because it seems to me that my generation and the one that preceded me has worked hard and with much love to build freedoms, and you Natalia exercise that freedom with much beauty, you are my teacher in being brave.
“It is especially symbolic that Nat gives me this because it is a sign that the union between women, true friendship, when we are allies, is far above screens, companies, producers, impositions. Nothing separates us, on the contrary, it is a motivation to be more united, to always raise our voices together.”
