Malibu, the iconic rum-based coconut spirit, recently transformed spaces in Miami and Los Angeles into pre-vacation tropical paradises with its “Vacation Fill” pop-up events, where guests were able to step into vibrant, mini oases and be instantly transported into a fun-filled nail parties that were giving peak summer vibes.

Imagine this: the air is filled with vibes and music via a live DJ, an open bar featuring refreshing Malibu-inspired cocktails, a delicious Mexican street corn stand, and Malibu-infused popsicles offering the perfect sweet and savory balance.

But the fun didn’t stop there. Dedicated nail stations transformed guests’ hands into miniature works of art with Malibu-inspired press-on nails designed by Rita Pinto of Vanity Projects and Samantha Pasaye aka Nail Art Fairy. Guests left with not only refreshed minds and bodies, but also stunning nails that captured the true essence of the pop-up.
While Pinto opted for a design reflecting pure summer vibes reminiscent of the iconic Malibu bottle and logo, featuring a gradient sunset, stripes and monstera leaves, Pasaye went for a more fun and flirty vibe, utilizing an ombré base of pastel colors with floating cocktail-inspired fruits as well as the iconic Malibu palm trees.

However, the “Vacation Fill” pop-up was more than just an event, it was an experience. It was a space for friends to meet up and hang out, laugh and dance the evening away. Yes—there was lots of dancing!
Of course, there was also an Instagram-worthy photo booth, where guests were encouraged to immerse themselves in the Malibu lifestyle to show off their fresh nail game and their style.
