Using one of the best rabbit vibrators can feel pretty earth-shattering, as depicted in a Sex and the City episode where Charlotte becomes so taken with hers, her friends stage a “rabbit intervention.” It’s been decades since that episode helped the humble toy hop into the international spotlight, but as technology gets even better, so do these vibes.

The long and short of it, ahem, is that these toys feature two curved appendages (one mini, one biggie) that stimulate two pleasure points simultaneously, otherwise known as dual-stimulation. If you have a vagina, those hotspots will be internal and external—the G-spot and the clitoris—but the shorter end can also be used to stimulate the prostate. This shorter arm is how the toy got its moniker in the first place, since many feature flickering “bunny ears” for textured stimulation that feels good and looks adorable.

Sex educator Linnea Marie notes that people “have the potential of achieving blended orgasms” with these toys, which is why they’re such a good accessory for people that can’t get off from penetration alone. To help you navigate the wide world of rabbits, I combined my own personal intel from years of testing dozens of vibrators with that of a few sex experts to bring you the most well-rounded recommendations on these delightfully multi-tasking vibes.

The Best Rabbit Vibrator, Overall: We-Vibe Nova 2

We-Vibe

Nova 2

Pros

  • Strong and rumbly vibrations
  • Curved to hit the G-spot
  • Flexible clitoral arm helps maintain contact with your clit when thrusting the toy
  • Both components can be controlled separately
  • Bluetooth-controllable (including long-distance) via the We-Vibe app
  • Quiet
  • Waterproof
  • Travel lock function

Cons

  • Internal shaft only vibrates

Material: Silicone
Battery Life: 2 hours

The We-Vibe Nova 2 really is the best of the best. I thought maybe it was just me, but three sex experts I spoke to for this article cited it as their favorite, too. Leanne Yau, a polyamory educator and founder of Poly Philia, describes it as “really ergonomic in shape, which makes it very easy to rock it back and forth with your hand.” It can also be paired with the We-Vibe app if you prefer to go hands-free or want to hand over the reins to your partner.

The Best Pressure-Wave Rabbit Vibrator: Womanizer Blend

Material: Silicone
Battery Life: 90 minutes

Womanizer is the brand that pioneered pressure-wave toys (known colloquially as clit suckers), and they just keep outdoing themselves with each new iteration of this toe-curling technology. Here, they’ve paired it with a powerful G-spot vibrator, so you can experience strong internal vibration and rhythmic clit stimulation, all at the same time. Each of these functions can even be controlled separately, so you can customize your pleasure just how you like it. My favorite feature of this toy might be the perfectly curved and contoured shape of its G-spot arm; it’s so well-shaped to hit that zone that it can feel good even with the vibrations turned off—although you’ll probably want to crank ’em up for the big finish!

The Best Classic Rabbit Vibrator: Dream Rabbit

Lovehoney

Dream Rabbit

Pros

  • Combines rotating stimulation with vibration
  • 3 vibration speeds, 7 patterns, and 3 rotation speeds
  • Each function can be controlled separately
  • Waterproof

Cons

Material: Silicone
Battery Life: Not listed

Rabbit vibes have been around since the ’80s, and while sex toy tech has evolved a lot since then, some classics are classic for a reason. This is a modernized spin on old-school rabbits, including the one featured prominently in that notorious Sex & the City episode where Charlotte gets addicted to her vibrator. Its rotation function swirls textured beads over your G-spot, while its flexible bunny ears flutter on your clit. It lacks the fancy bells and whistles of some pricier rabbits, but it’s a solid, satisfying pick, not to mention a cool sex toy history throwback.

The Most Powerful Rabbit Vibrator: Miss Bi

Fun Factory

Miss Bi

Pros

  • 6 speeds and 6 patterns
  • Clitoral arm is well-designed to maintain contact while thrusting
  • Each arm can be controlled independently
  • Ergonomic looped handle
  • Buttons are easy to locate
  • Waterproof
  • Relatively quiet
  • Travel lock function

Cons

  • Short battery life and long charging time (6-8 hours)

Material: Silicone and ABS plastic
Battery Life: 30-60 minutes

German brand Fun Factory makes some of the best-engineered vibes on the market, which is why this rabbit is so damn good. Its ultra-powerful dual motors serve up deep, thrumming vibration to both the G-spot and the clit (or to the prostate and perineum, if used anally). The flexibility of its external arm allows it to move with you when you thrust the toy—and thrusting is a breeze with this vibe, because of its looped handle. One of my favorite things about Fun Factory toys is always their buttons, which are satisfyingly clicky and easy to locate, even in the dark, because they’re raised and illuminated—so there’s no risk of ruining your orgasm by fumbling to find the right button at a crucial moment.

The Best G-Spot-Tapping Rabbit Vibrator: Playboy Pleasure That’s the Spot

Playboy Pleasure

That’s the Spot

Pros

  • Unique G-spot ‘tapping’ function paired with clitoral vibration
  • 10 speeds and rhythms
  • Comfortably flexible clitoral arm
  • Each motor can be controlled independently
  • Waterproof

Cons

Material: Silicone and ABS plastic
Battery Life: About 1 hour

Some people’s G-spots respond better to motion or pressure than to vibration, which is why it’s great that this rabbit vibe taps your spot rather than vibrating it. It feels remarkably like getting fingered by a skilled partner, IMO, which is high praise for a sex toy! It can even feel good to hold the “tapping” portion of the toy against external erogenous zones, like the nipples and clit, when you’re getting warmed up. And this vibe is waterproof, too, so feel free to enjoy it in the shower or tub.

The Best Budget Rabbit Vibrator: Romp Jazz

Romp

Jazz

Pros

  • Inexpensive
  • Moderately powerful vibrations
  • Six vibration speeds and four patterns
  • Textured shaft
  • Waterproof

Cons

  • Internal shaft only vibrates
  • Not as powerful or rumbly as some pricier rabbits
  • Short battery life
  • Arms cannot be controlled separately

Materials: Silicone and ABS plastic
Battery Life: One hour

Rabbit vibrators can get pretty pricey, because they’re essentially two vibrators mashed into one. It’s rare to find one for under $50 that’s actually decent, but this one fits the bill. It’s got a long shaft that works well for deep penetration, featuring some mild ridges that stroke the front vaginal wall on each thrust. With six vibration speeds and four patterns to choose from, which get decently powerful at the higher end, this is a surprisingly good rabbit vibrator for the price.

The Best Luxury Rabbit Vibrator: Lelo Soraya 2

Lelo

Soraya 2

Pros

  • Elegant aesthetic
  • Strong, rumbly vibrations
  • 12 vibration settings
  • Flexible clitoral arm
  • Looped handle is easier to hold onto
  • Waterproof
  • Quiet
  • Long battery life
  • Travel lock function

Cons

  • Expensive
  • Internal shaft only vibrates
  • Shaft is barely curved
  • Arms can’t be controlled separately
  • Seams on shaft can be hard to clean

Materials: Silicone and ABS plastic
Battery Life: Up to 4 hours

On the higher-end, count on Lelo (maker of only the most luxe toys) to produce one stylish-as-hell rabbit vibe. This one, featuring panels of metallic plastic, looks like a blobby little sculpture, with next-level vibrations that match its futuristic aesthetic. The quality speaks for itself: The flexible clitoral arm hits all the right spots, and the impressively long battery life means you’re in for hours of fun.

The Best Flexible Rabbit Vibrator: Je Joue Hera Flex

Je Joue

Hera Flex

Pros

  • Strong and rumbly vibrations
  • Five vibration speeds and seven patterns
  • Both arms are squishy
  • Flexible, and can be bent to your desired angle
  • Curved shaft for G-spot stimulation
  • Waterproof
  • Quiet

Cons

  • Arms can’t be controlled separately
  • Internal shaft only vibrates

Materials: Silicone
Battery Life: N/A

Sex therapist Ness Cooper recommends this flexible, bendable rabbit vibe to anyone who struggles with genital pain or has found overly firm toys to be uncomfortable in the past. “The flexibility allows me to adjust the internal shaft to work with my body, rather than fight against it, and flex the external ‘rabbit’ part to rest exactly over my clitoris,” Cooper says, adding that the motors are also consistently powerful.

The Best Remote-Controlled Rabbit Vibrator: Lovense Nora

Lovense

Nora

Pros

  • Strong and rumbly vibrations
  • Customizable vibration settings
  • Rotating internal arm for G-spot stimulation
  • Flexible clitoral arm
  • Each arm can be controlled independently
  • Can be controlled long-distance
  • Has “teledildonic” capabilities when paired with other Lovense toys via the Lovense app
  • Long battery life

Cons

  • Only water-resistant (not fully waterproof)

Materials: Silicone and ABS plastic
Battery Life: Four hours

The Lovense Nora is a fantastic rabbit vibe, featuring strong and rumbly vibrations, a flexible clitoral arm, and a rotating shaft that can massage the G-spot. To top it off, it can also be controlled remotely via the Lovense app, or synced up with another toy from the brand, such as its Max 2 stroker. When two toys are paired up, the way you thrust the Nora will affect how your partner’s toy stimulates them simultaneously, even if they’re actually hundreds of miles away. I’ve loved using this one with my long-distance partner, though it just as much when I’m alone.

The Best Self-Thrusting Rabbit Vibrator: Unbound Clutch

Unbound

Clutch

Pros

  • Self-thrusting internal arm
  • Rumbly external vibrations
  • Seven vibration intensities and five vibration patterns
  • Five thrusting intensities and five thrusting patterns
  • Flexible clitoral stimulator
  • Each arm can be controlled independently
  • Ergonomic looped handle
  • Waterproof

Cons

  • Internal arm is barely curved

Materials: Silicone
Battery Life: Two hours

Although it can feel good to manually thrust a rabbit in and out, sometimes you want the toy to do the work for you—and that’s where the Clutch comes in. Its internal arm jiggles in and out in a way that feels like tiny little thrusts right against the G-spot, while its external arm offers wonderfully rumbly clitoral vibrations. It holds a place of honor in my nightstand’s top drawer because the orgasms it delivers are so consistent and intense.

The Best Rabbit Vibrator for Prostates: Lelo Loki Wave

Lelo

Loki Wave

Pros

  • Powerful
  • Rumbly vibrations
  • 10 vibration settings
  • Massages prostate with a “wave-like” motion
  • Waterproof

Cons

  • May be too large for some users
  • Arms can’t be controlled separately

Materials: Silicone and ABS plastic
Battery Life: Two hours

Rabbit vibes aren’t just for clitoral and G-spot pleasure—a lot of them also work well for prostate stimulation, with the external part resting on the sensitive perineum (a.k.a. the taint). This toy, however, was designed specifically for prostate play, so of course it does so very well. In addition to vibrating, this toy’s internal arm moves up and down in a “come hither” motion to massage your prostate. The arms don’t work independently of each other, but the 10 vibration settings and overall satisfaction with using this makes up for it.

The Best Triple-Stimulation Rabbit Vibrator: Happy Rabbit Triple Curve

Happy Rabbit

Triple Curve

Pros

  • Strong vibrations
  • A total of 21 vibration modes across three motors
  • Quiet
  • Waterproof
  • Travel lock function

Cons

  • You pretty much have to use all three of the toy’s functions at once in order to use it at all
  • Internal shafts only vibrate
  • Controls can be hard to figure out

Materials: Silicone
Battery Life: Two hours

The defining feature of rabbit vibrators is that they offer multiple different sensations, and this cactus-shaped one takes that goal to the next level: In addition to a traditional head and rabbit ear arm, this one offers a third beaded arm that your butt. This means that three major erogenous zones are being stimulated at once, which could be overwhelming in the best way. There is a whopping total of 23 vibration modes, yet remains quiet across all of them, so go wild on high speed, friends.

The Best Rabbit Vibrator for Beginners: Happy Rabbit Mini Rabbit

Happy Rabbit

Mini Rabbit

Pros

  • Beginner-friendly small size
  • Three speeds and nine patterns
  • Curved shaft for G-spot stimulation
  • Inexpensive
  • Waterproof
  • Travel lock function

Cons

  • May be smaller than some users prefer
  • Arms can’t be controlled independently
  • Internal shaft only vibrates

Material: Silicone and ABS plastic
Battery Life: 2 hours

“Dual-stimulation vibrators can be easy to use, and the combined internal and external stimulation can be great for beginners who don’t want to have to buy two different toys,” says Alesandra Madison, a BDSM educator. “Just be sure to start small in terms of size and intensity, and choose a toy that’s made from comfortable materials, like body-safe silicone.” This petite vibe fits the bill, and is inexpensive compared to a lot of other options on the market, so it could be a good entry-level option for rabbit-curious shoppers.

What to Look for in a Rabbit Vibrator

Rabbit vibes can be more complex than other simpler, single-function toys, because there are more criteria to consider. Here are some of the most important qualities to consider when shopping for a dual-stimulation toy:

Marie advises people to beeline for body-safe materials that are non-porous, like silicone, which “is ultimately the best because it’s easy to clean and hypoallergenic.” It’s also common to find ABS plastic as the base of many body-safe rabbit vibrators. Avoid materials like PVC, elastomer, and rubber that are known to be porous or to contain phthalates, which can be toxic.

“Rabbit vibrators often have multiple functions of vibration, pulsation, and escalation,” explains Bezalel, which are useful “if you’re into experimenting by yourself and/or with a partner.” Having the option of multiple vibration settings is also great if you prefer to start at a lower intensity and work your way up to more powerful sensations.

While vibrations can feel good just about anywhere, you may want to prioritize rabbits with an internal arm that offers rotation, thrusting, or some other kind of motion. According to sex therapist Dr. Laurie Mintz in her book Becoming Cliterate, “the inner two-thirds of the vagina has almost no touch-sensitive nerve endings but instead has a lot of pressure-sensitive nerve endings.” So, an internal arm that rhythmically presses against the vaginal walls is likely to produce better results for most people than one that only vibrates.

The clitoral aspect of a rabbit vibe can be crucial if you’re a person with a vagina who gets off mainly on that kind of stimulation. While rabbit vibes traditionally have fluttery bunny ears for that purpose, these may not be intense enough for users who need a lot of sensation or who are used to powerful vibrators. In those cases, look for rabbit vibes that have a thicker, more substantial clitoral arm, which will conduct vibrations better. Some rabbit vibes put their own spin on clitoral stimulation, offering rhythmic air pulses, tongue-like flickering, or various other sensations in lieu of (or in addition to) vibration.

“Since not all rabbits are made with the same dimensions, it may be beneficial to know how far apart your vaginal opening is from your clitoris,” Marie suggests. “The distance usually is somewhere between or 0.6 to 1.4 inches apart, so the dimensions of the rabbit can have a huge effect on whether it will work for your body or not.”

Marie also points out that some rabbit vibes address this problem by giving the clitoral arm a lot of flexibility, so it can stretch or bend to hit your clit no matter where it’s located in relation to your vaginal opening. “Those seem to work best,” she notes. As a bonus, rabbits with a flexible clitoral arm also tend to be the easiest to thrust in and out while you’re using them, should you want to, because they won’t lose clitoral contact as you do so.

How We Tested

I’ve been on the sex toy beat for over a decade, and have tested and reviewed about 400 toys in that time, including over 60 different rabbit vibrators. The ones that stand out to me the most, after testing so many, are those that have a truly great motor (or in some cases, multiple motors), a comfortable shape, and controls that are simple and comprehensible.

The best rabbits are also flexible, allowing them to hit the right spots regardless of how big or small the distance between your vagina and clitoris might be. I’m only one person, so you can’t know for sure that a rabbit which works for me will work for you, too, which is why I also reached out to several experts and asked about their favorites. Our final list ended up being everything ranging from from beginner-friendly rabbit vibes to complex, feature-packed ones.
