It’s a bell we’ve been ringing since season one: The Bear is a menswear show. As the show bloomed into a megahit, we’ve watched as Carmy’s appreciation for selvedge denim and workhorse white T-shirts has made way for more enviable jackets and custom Thom Browne chef’s coats.
Since the show’s debut, its star Jeremy Allen White has parlayed his fictional hot-chef persona into an A-list career with all its accompanying fashion bonafides: an “erotic pilgrimage”-inducing Calvin Klein campaign; a signature accessory in the form of huge bouquets of farmers’ market flowers; a particularly stylish fling with a Catalan pop star. All the while, White’s costars Matty Matheson and Ayo Edebiri have become two of Hollywood’s most exciting dressers.

Matheson (who always manages to be the coolest-looking guy at any event he attends) paired his black tuxedo with a vintage Sturgis Motorcycle Rally T-shirt from 1998, dark shades, and silver-tipped cowboy boots. His costar Ebon Moss-Bachrach—a.k.a. Cousin—wore a simple, svelte Prada suit with a lilac-toned knit polo shirt.
