Hilaria and Alec Baldwin’s family drama

The family has not been without its scandals, and that’s before they let cameras into their home. Baldwin has been criticized for his comments defending Woody Allen, and the aftermath of the fatal shooting on his movie Rust is still ongoing.

On a lighter note, Hilaria—born Hilary Thomas and raised in Boston—has over the years insinuated that she was raised in Spain, going so far as to affect an accent and forget the word for cucumber. “My parents raised my brother and me with two cultures, American and Spanish, and I feel a true sense of belonging to both. The way I’ve spoken about myself and my deep connection to two cultures could have been better explained—I should have been more clear and I’m sorry,” Hilaria said in a statement after the controversy.
