With the longest—and usually coldest—month of the year upon us, let’s look on the bright side: the most-anticipated TV shows of 2026 are getting closer by the day. First up, the sophomore season of the Emmy-winning and beloved medical drama, The Pitt, on HBO Max, followed by Netflix’s Bridgerton and Apple TV’s Shrinking later in January. Then there’s the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, which will will take over NBC/Peacock from February 6-22.
Meanwhile, Outlander‘s final season on Starz will return this March, followed by Jon Hamm, Olivia Munn, and Amanda Peet in the second season of Apple TV’s Your Friends & Neighbors in April. We’ll also get new seasons of Virgin River and Sweet Magnolias, though Netflix has yet to reveal exact premiere dates. Same for Nobody Wants This season three.
Obviously we’re also big reality TV fans here at Glamour, so we’ll be all over new seasons of The Bachelorette (with Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul), Love Island, The Traitors and more. There’s also plenty of new series that we can’t stop talking about, including Peacock’s Ponies, Apple TV’s Margo’s Got Money Troubles, Prime Video’s Elle, and more.
So with that, here’s our list of the most anticipated new and returning TV shows of 2026. Mark your calendars; there’s a lot to get to.
