Taylor Swift’s Chiefs game glam was on-theme as always, down to what looks to be her favorite red lipstick in a shade that complements the Kansas City home uniforms perfectly. (The singer’s longtime makeup artist recently confirmed for the first time last week that her go-to shade is “Morocco” by Nars.) And, upon closer inspection, it looks like Swift added glitter to the bridge of her nose and the tops of her cheekbones, almost like sparkly freckles.
Despite her recent absences, Swift’s presence at Arrowhead will come as no surprise to dedicated Swifties. While the “Fortnight” singer did not attend the charity event Kelce hosted on his 35th birthday, the tight end promised Page Six that the pop star was “coming in for the game.”
It’s still early in the season, but there’s already been a ton of discourse surrounding Swift’s effect on Kelce’s field performance. Although the Kansas City Chiefs are currently undefeated, the tight end’s slow start to the season led some football fans to call him “distracted” by Swift and new Hollywood pursuts.
Kelce put an end to some of that noise by playing a great game against the Los Angeles Chargers last week, though some Swifties think Taylor Swift also shut down haters in her own subtle way. On October 3 (aka National Boyfriend Day), Swift dropped a new batch of merch for The Tortured Poets Department called “The Greatest in the League Collection.”
That title, of course, references her TTPD track, “The Alchemy,” which is widely believed to have been written about Travis Kelce.
