With another month coming to a close, it’s time to check out all of the creative new ice that some of our favorite celebrities have purchased. We may never be able to justify spending thousands of dollars on a diamond chain of our own, but we can still appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into making wearable art like Yeat’s ‘Lyfestyle’ pendant.

The rapper decided to celebrate his upcoming album by hitting up Alex Moss for a new chain. Megan Thee Stallion tapped into her Houston roots and paid a visit to Johnny Dang for an iced-out grill. We also saw Sexyy Red add to her collection of cartoon pendants by giving a nod to Super Mario’s Princess Peach.

Take a closer look at the top five pieces of custom jewelry unveiled throughout September 2024, below.

5. Joe Burrow’s Smiley Face Chain

Jeweler: Leo Khusro

Joe Burrow hasn’t had a ton to smile about this season. The Bengals have started off slow and are currently sitting at a measly 1-3. After getting a look at his newest ice, it seems like Burrow is trying his best to stay positive. His latest chain, courtesy of Texas-based jeweler Leo Khusro, features multicolored smiley face links.

This isn’t the first time that Burrow linked up with Khusro. He is also behind the “JB 9” chain that Burrow wore in this viral photo when he arrived to Super Bowl LVI. Hopefully, the whimsical design can help the Bengals turn things around this season.

4. Swizz Beatz’s Ruff Ryders Chain

Jeweler: Eliantte

The Ruff Ryders double R logo is one of the most iconic symbols in rap history, so anytime we see it iced-out like this, it’s going to feel special. To celebrate his 46th birthday, Swizz Beatz decided to hit up go-to jeweler Elliot Eliantte to further immortalize the double R. The pendant is totally flooded with pointer diamonds and hangs from a diamond infinity link chain with a single ruby red link.

Swizz’s newest piece had some other hip-hop legends envious. Jadakiss, who released multiple projects under the Ruff Ryders imprint in the 2000s, could be seen in the comments section of Eliantte’s post inquiring about a piece of his own. He wrote, “I need something similar lol.” Don’t be surprised if we see Jada flaunting his own diamond double R in the near future.

3. Megan Thee Stallion’s Grills

Jeweler: Johnny Dang

In true Texan fashion, Megan Thee Stallion decided to get a new grill last month. She certainly went to the right place, hitting up none other than local legend Johnny Dang for her latest diamond set. According to a post from Dang, the “Honeymoon” set features all GIA-certified oval diamonds, flawless diamond pointers, and two heart-shaped pink diamonds on the bottom row of teeth. The “Star” rapper definitely seems happy with her purchase. She dedicated an entire Instagram post to flaunting them.

2. Sexyy Red’s Princess Peach Chain

Jeweler: Jewelry Unlimited

Sexyy Red has quickly accumulated one of the most impressive and fun collections of custom jewelry in hip-hip. Her latest piece may be the best one yet. Once again, she paid a visit to Atlanta’s Jewelry Unlimited to create what she calls the “Ghetto Princess Peach” chain. Nintendo fans will immediately recognize the Toadstool royalty’s puffy pink dress and crown, but the St. Louis rapper made sure to make this Peach all her own. This remixed version includes a money phone in her left hand, red rag tied around her right wrist, Soulja Boy-inspired “Sexyy Red” shades, and a mini version of her “Ghetto Princess” chain around her neck. We didn’t think it was going to be possible for Sexyy Red to top her gun-toting Hello Kitty pendant. This may have done it.

1. Yeat’s ‘Lyfestyle’ Skull Pendant

Jeweler: Alex Moss

Alex Moss’ latest work for Yeat is dubbed the “Lyfestyle” skull pendant. The design features a giant skull with two guns crossing behind it, a circular chain link border, and custom “Lyfestyle” type dripping over top. One of the best details is actually the chain it hangs from, which consists of various 5.56mm and 9mm bullet-shaped links. According to the official press release from Alex Moss, the chain is made of 14K white gold and 67.45 carats worth of Pavé-set natural VVS white and black diamonds. “Yeat and I have an amazing creative synergy and this is something we do every time he’s about to drop a new album,” Moss says. He proves once again why he might be the best jeweler in the game today.
