Puma has unveiled its 2026 World Cup Kits, boasting jerseys for 11 nations across four continents.
The sports company took over New York City’s Domino Square for its debut, hosting a block party featuring soccer, music and food revolving around the cultures celebrated across the jersey collection. Instead of revealing the jerseys in a stadium setting, Puma decided to share the kits with NYC’s community, with the corresponding jersey worn by a local from each of the 11 nations.
Those nations include Portugal, Morocco, Ghana, Paraguay, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, New Zealand, Austria and Egypt.
“Every kit in this collection is designed to carry the spirit of a nation: the colours, the symbols, the stories. We’ve pushed our performance innovation further than ever before, but the soul of each design comes from the people who wear it,” Maria Kiebacher, PUMA Director Product Line Management Teamsport Apparel, said in a statement.
Puma designed a home jersey and an away jersey for each nation. Both of Portugal’s jerseys, for example, embody the country’s maritime spirit, with its home jersey featuring a deep red body with a tonal wave pattern. The green and gold trim is a nod to Portugal’s national colors, while the country’s crest is a hat-tip to the heritage design. Portugal’s away jersey features a white base with a teal wave pattern that recalls the country’s connection to the sea and its history of exploration.
