Last night, Puma kicked off F1 race weekend in the desert by opening its second North American flagship store in Las Vegas.
“I am thrilled that we are opening a state-of-the-art flagship store in Las Vegas as part of our brand elevation strategy. Located along the iconic Las Vegas Strip, this flagship allows us to expand Puma’s presence in North America to connect with U.S consumers and international visitors alike,” Arne Freundt, Chief Executive Officer of Puma says.
The store features three floors of shopping as well as an immersive motorsports zone with professional grade F1 sims, an interactive Puma arcade, multiple customization zones, and exclusive Las Vegas-inspired apparel. To open the new store, Puma tapped Xavi Simons and Rickie Fowler to help cut the store’s ribbon.
“Especially over the last handful of years, you’ve seen stores go away,” Fowler says. “To have a new storefront right here in Vegas on the strip, it speaks volume about the brand and the people who are behind it.”
Puma continues to try and blur the lines between motorsport and fashion, anchored by F1’s presence in Vegas. Last year the brand teamed up with creatives like ASAP Rocky and Joshua Vides and created an entire desert-inspired collection for 2024.
“The worlds of fashion and motorsport are getting close,” Scuderia Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc tells Complex. “Puma has collabs with super creative minds. The racing apparel keeps looking cooler and cooler.”
